Dave Gilmore Inducted into the Auctioneers Association “Hall of Fame”

Gilmore, CAI, AARE of Sperry Van Ness / Gilmore Auction & Realty Co. in Kenner, LA has been inducted into the Louisiana Auctioneers Association “Hall of Fame.” Louisiana Auctioneers Association exists to promote the auction method of marketing through professional and ethical auctioneering practices in the Louisiana region.
This award is given to a longstanding member that exhibits strong leadership within the auction industry, community involvement, and significant contributions to the auction profession. Gilmore is the fourth inductee into the LAA Hall of Fame following Ike Hamilton, Keith Babb and Marvin Henderson. Gilmore has served as President and Secretary/Treasurer of the Louisiana Auctioneers Association and is the 1992 Louisiana State Champion Auctioneer. Gilmore is also a past President of the Auction Marketing Institute and past Ex-officio Board member of the National Auctioneers Association.
With more than 20 years of experience, Gilmore has served as chief auctioneer for more than 5,000 real estate auction properties throughout the United States.
