Cameron Parish Road Home Auction Tops $620,000
Cameron, LA – January 26th – Sperry Van Ness/Gilmore Auction recently conducted the successful auction of 100 Road Home properties owned by the Cameron Parish Police Jury on Saturday January 25th. Properties were located in Cameron, Holly Beach, Creole, Hackberry, Johnson Bayou, and Grand Chenier. An audience of over two hundred including one hundred registered bidders competed for sixty-four of the properties on auction day. Auction day sales totaled $378,500.
Prior to the auction, in December, Sperry Van Ness/Gilmore Auction assisted Cameron Parish by handling the sales of an additional thirty-six Road Home properties to “Lot Next Door” buyers. Lot Next Door sales were $242,310. Total sales for the Cameron Parish event were $620,810 for one hundred road home assets.
